
The role as Executive Director is critical to the success of the Board. This is the only paid position in the organization, and the best candidate will be well-organized, have a positive, inspiring attitude and be experienced in Social Media Marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the President and the Executive team to achieve board-directed goals

Attend all board meetings and most committee meetings

Lead membership growth efforts and engagement

Represent the Chamber in meetings with stakeholders and community partners

Manage incoming correspondence via the website and email

Prepare and distribute a weekly newsletter to members
-
Create and manage social media content
-
Track and manage membership payments
-
Set up new members in the invoicing system
-
Prepare and submit a monthly financial package to the accountant

Plan, organize, and promote Chamber events
KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Time Commitment: 20/hr week

Ability to manage schedule, track time and work remotely

Weekly Zoom meeting with the president to determine priorities

Flexible to attend morning, afternoon or evening meetings/events
-
Confident to coordinate venues, caterers, guest speakers, volunteers, etc.

Good writing and social media skills to create e-news and posts

This position is offered at $25 - 30/hr dependant on experience.
