The role as Executive Director is critical to the success of the Board. This is the only paid position in the organization, and the best candidate will be well-organized, have a positive, inspiring attitude and be experienced in Social Media Marketing. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the President and the Executive team to achieve board-directed goals 

  • Attend all board meetings and most committee meetings 

  • Lead membership growth efforts and engagement 

  • Represent the Chamber in meetings with stakeholders and community partners 

  • Manage incoming correspondence via the website and email 

  • Prepare and distribute a weekly newsletter to members 

  • Create and manage social media content 

  • Track and manage membership payments 

  • Set up new members in the invoicing system 

  • Prepare and submit a monthly financial package to the accountant 

  • Plan, organize, and promote Chamber events 


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Time Commitment: 20/hr week

  • Ability to manage schedule, track time and work remotely

  • Weekly Zoom meeting with the president to determine priorities

  • Flexible to attend morning, afternoon or evening meetings/events

  • Confident to coordinate venues, caterers, guest speakers, volunteers, etc.

  • Good writing and social media skills to create e-news and posts

This position is offered at $25 - 30/hr dependant on experience.  

An in-person interview with the Executive will be required with the top candidates. The deadline to apply is 5 pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
